Our range of services includes

- Collection: we provide our customers with suitable containers of varying sizes and, of course, collect them – at previously arranged times or at regular intervals.
- Sorting: we separate the different materials, put them into larger fractions, recycle and/or process the residual materials and isolate the valuable but hazardous mercury.

- Processing: we are the only company in the world to have such advanced technology and are also able to recover very pure mercury from contaminated batches.
- Marketing: we return the recycled mercury to production cycles under the name QR-MERCURY. It is suitable, for example, for producing fluorescent tubes and low energy light bulbs and is available in a range of package sizes from 500 grams to 1,000 kilograms.

REMONDIS QR GmbH is a fully owned subsidiary of REMONDIS GmbH & Co. KG and operates the world's only vacuum heat treatment facility for processing mercury. Here, mercury is extracted from common everyday products as well as from industrial waste – and then returned to production cycles as QR-MERCURY.
