The solvents contained in the cans can also be recovered for materials recycling when large batches of aerosol cans are processed
Handling aerosol cans and gas cartridges is a potentially dangerous problem. We ensure that all risks are eliminated right from the very beginning. It makes no difference whether the work involves large or small volumes of cans or whether they are full or only partially full. We use state-of-the-art facilities and technology to process the cans and cartridges and recover valuable raw materials which we then return to production cycles.
All collection and recycling activities are carried out by the same company: we supply suitable containers, collect them regularly or whenever you call us up and sort the materials. Using a complex and, for the most part, multi-stage separation process (inertization), we recover aluminium and tinplate and as far as possible recycle the contents and propellants – or dispose of them in an environmentally friendly way. As a result, we can guarantee that we carry out the highest possible levels of materials recycling and by doing so make an effective contribution towards protecting the environment. For we prevent the damaging greenhouse gases from being released into the atmosphere.
Best available technology: Our processing facilities in Bramsche have been listed as a "BVT Facility" (facility with the best available technology) in the Federal Environmental Agency's "Leaflet on the best available technology for waste treatment plants".
